Meet the team
Head of Academy
Steve is the engine of Demarq’s Training Academy and trails an auspicious 25 year track record in the analytics industry. In 2006, after many years managing analytical teams for various organizations, Steve set up and successfully ran his own company, Sophic, a training company for developing the skills of data analysts. He joined Demarq earlier this year as arguably one of the most experienced analytical trainers in the country.
Head of Analytics
Andy is a highly experienced customer analytics professional and champion of Demarq’s Training Academy. He prides himself on delivering results through people. He’s managed teams, coached individuals, engaged in performance and stakeholder management, and holds firm to the philosophy that (in a world where technology seems to reign supreme), people are huge assets and deliver value. Andy has 25 years client side experience in the financial services industry. He was head of Analytics at Swinton Insurance for many years and also worked at Marks and Spencer Money, Egg and The Co-operative Insurance Society, before bringing his technical and consultative deftness to Demarq.
